Sure wish I could join you in celebrating all that the AoP has done in inspiring young people in their call to preaching, including many of my own students in recent years. I'm deeply grateful for Dwight Moody's vision and passion for building up young women and men from such a diverse theological spectrum -- his inspiration has been foundational. Additional recognition goes to Debbie Moody, Ernest Brooks III, Conway Stone, and so many others who have invested so deeply in the academy. Without a doubt, the work of the AoP will endure through thousands of women and men who are stepping in to their calling as preachers of the gospel. I look forward to seeing how the legacy of the AoP's leadership lives on in the church going forward.

Sometimes we "lurch forward" in the kingdom of God (Matthew 11.12). Fortunately, we're lurching in the right direction.

Blessings on you, my friends.

It is with sadness that we receive the news of the closing of the Academy of Preachers. But that sense of loss is overcome by the impact that this wonderful ministry made in the life of hundreds of young preachers. The church is indebted to Dwight and all who made this vision a reality, even if for a season. Soli Deo Gloria!

We are so sorry we will be out of town June 23rd and not able to be with you for AOP Day. But our thoughts will be there with you as we remember fondly several National Young Preacher Festivals. We were glad to be able to help as volunteers for some of the January Festivals and we have some great memories. Thanks again for all that you have done to encourage young people in sharing their faith. Bless you all. Linda and Bruce

The Academy of Preachers has been a blessing to me. As a member of AOP (AOP' 13) It had help me not only connect with other Preachers, form friendships but also shaped and horn my preaching skills to where I can improve. The Mission of the AOP can continue by encouraging the young preachers by hosting little short videos of their experience and testiomies

I have attended every National Festival since 2012, in addition to a Regional festival and a number of AOP related events. I have served as a Gospel Catalyst, Leadership Fellow, Recruiter, and Circle Facilitator, among other things. I will forever be indebted to the AOP. I have established lifelong friendships,’grown as a preacher, and most importantly, grown closer to God in the process. Thank you, AOP. This isn’t over.
