Hundreds of people will be coming to Louisville for the first Festival of Young Preachers. It is estimated that attendance at the festival will exceed 2000 people. To host this crowd we need many volunteers.
Here are a few of the tasks needed to be performed by volunteers:
Pick up young preachers, mentors and other guests at the airport Wednesday or Thursday,
Help prepare the church: arranging chairs, setting up tables, placing signage Wednesday afternoon
Serve as greeters and runners during any part of the festival, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
Clean up after the festival: stacking chairs and tables, taking out trash, straightening church on Saturday afternoon
Take out of town guests to the airport on Saturday afternoon or Sunday.
If you or your friends, family or social circle or church group could volunteer for any time during the festival, Wednesday through Saturday, or for any part of any day contact Deena Kuhl at deenakuhl@yahoo.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. And if there is a big snow storm, we will need a host of people (not to clean off a parking lot–that is taken care of–but to clean sidewalks and assist people into and out of the building.
